Sam Shaw: 60 Years of Photography exhibit opens at Filmmuseum Potsdam in Germany

Please join us at the Potsdam Filmmuseum on January 27, 2017 at 7pm to celebrate the opening of the exhibition Sam Shaw: 60 Years of Photography.

The opening reception will be attended by Sam Shaw’s daughters and granddaughter, Meta Shaw Stevens, Edie Shaw Marcus, and Melissa Stevens, the author of the exhibition catalog, Lorie Karnath, as well as the Director of the Potsdam Filmmuseum, Prof. Dr. Ursula von Keitz, and musical guests, Sam Loves to Travel.

The exhibition is on view through May 7, 2017 and is accompanied by screenings of films Sam Shaw photographed, directed and produced: The Seven Year Itch (1955), The Fugitive Kind (1960), A Streetcar Named Desire (1951), Zorba the Greek (1964), Casino Royale (1967), Paris Blues (1961), A Child is Waiting (1963), Blondie (1978), and Opening Night (1977).
