APAG Seminar 2014

2014 APAG Seminar
The first annual APAG Seminar was held this past week on September 5th and 6th, 2014, and it was a huge success! We had over 40 attendees from all the U.S., including California, Texas, New Mexico, Maryland, Alabama and Pennsylvania.

The panels were all interesting, thought-provoking and educational. The presentations of the panelists were full of important information about various topics that we as archivists and photographers deal with on a daily basis. We are making this seminar an annual event. Information for the next one will be posted in the future.

Quotes from attendees

Here are some quotes from our attendees and panelists:

From our perspective, the Friday sessions were well received, and I can report that the people who attended our focused Q&A session actually had to be asked to leave at 5:30! They all had substantial interest and some knowledge, but they were thirsting for direction and assurance.

I very much enjoyed myself and feel like I learned a lot. Plus it was great environment in which to meet people I’d only talked with on the phone, as well as make new connections.

Great Conference!!! Bravo and brava to you all for producing a very worthwhile and classy show! So many reconnections and new people. I loved it.

Thank you for an incredible couple of days. I can’t believe who I met with, people I’ve known for years and never seen in person. It was so cool!

Just a quick follow up note to say rocking job to you on the conference. There was such a breadth of knowledge and everyone really seemed to enjoy the topics and the camaraderie.
