More than a century of picture making: portraits of the photographers who both taught us how to see and continue to open our eyes. The book features portraits of both the old American masters such as Imogen Cunningham and Ansel Adams and the 'young kids' from the Dusseldorf School.

Color Correction

Author: Ernst Haas

Publisher's website

Ernst Haas gained world-wide recognition for the vibrant color photography he produced for illustrated magazines in the U.S. and Europe. In recent years, however, critics and curators have derided this work calling it "overly commercial". But Haas also produced images for his own interest that are far more radical than his commissioned work. Since he never printed or exhibited this work during his lifetime, it is largely unknown. This book is intended to correct the record.
