The black and white imagery of Wynn Bullock is featured in both this exhibition and its accompanying catalog. Supported by an initiative of the Getty Foundation, Seismic Shift was curated by Colin Westerbeck and traces the regional history of California landscape photography from Ansel Adams and Edward Weston through Minor White and Bullock to the new aesthetic of the "man-altered landscapes" exemplified by Lewis Baltz, Joe Deal, and their contemporaries of the 1970s and early 1980s.
