This exhibition features Fred Stein's images of exiles who lived in Paris in the 1930's and also people who knew the philosopher Hannah Arendt, in conjunction with the publication of the book Hannah Arendt's Jewish Writings. The portraits are of incredible people, many whom are now forgotten, but at the time were leaders of movements, important writers, artists and radio personalities etc. Many of the negatives have not been seen or used in over 80 years.
